05 | 09 | 18 A U S C H W I T Z  This past weekend I visited hell on Earth. I visited the largest mass murder sight in the entire world. It was one of the most difficult things I've ever witnessed and the most empty, sickening feeling i've ever felt in my lifetime… but I had too. Because we must not forget. We must temporarily put ourselves through a small fraction of the sorrow and somber feeling that Jewish women, children, fathers, grandparents, lovers; felt, amongst many other terrible emotions, every single day for five years.  On saturday morning our group left bright and early for Krakow, Poland. It was about a 3 hour bus ride away. Since we left so early, I slept the majority of the way there. Upon our arrival about 5 minutes out, I woke to a beautiful scenery. Lots of bright green trees and windy roads leading to cute storybook houses and cafes. Immediately we headed to the famous Salt Mines, where we'd go on a three hour tour. The salt mines are 9 stories dee

05 | 02 | 18 C R O A T I A  Hej Ljepotes! Hey Beauties!  This past weekend was my Croatian trip with Cara! It was so positive and fun and exactly what I'd hoped for since it was technically my last good trip before going home!! Going into it, I was low key kind of dreadful because i'd been back from my two week long spring break for only 5 days and I was exhausted!!! But I knew traveling with Cara, we'd make lifetime memories and I was right!!  I got to Europe on March 1st and didn't meet my UNK group until the 11th…But by the time we were finally meeting up with them in Czech, I was more than ready to be around familiar Americans again. I met Cara that first day in the airport and we hit it off instantly!! I loved how she was so selfless with her conversation, always asking people more and more questions about themselves and genuinely being interested in what they were saying, never once speaking about herself, even though she has so much to offer!! We e

Two words that perfectly describe my spring break!   Seriously though I've been asking myself for the three days i've been back now, how the hell I got so lucky in life?   My mind has been racing with an overwhelming amount of joy, positive thoughts, and memories. I'm almost emotional writing about this because I cant believe its already over. If  you thought I was overjoyed when reading my venice blog...hold your breath … Here we go!      Bai and I flew out of Venice late saturday afternoon and landed in Rome about an hour later! It was quite the pricey Uber ride into the city, but rolling up to the contemporary Tribune Hotel (It was a breath of fresh air to be in a new and modern place, since all of Europe is so historical) knowing I was about to see my mama, (who I hadn't seen in 2 months) and my grandma, (one of my fav people ever) nothing else mattered but being reunited with them!! We too

04 | 14 | 18  V E N I C E.  (with a little bit of Austria)  Ciao Bella!!! To say living my life to the fullest right now is honestly an understatement. Currently my day to day involves doing and seeing things I never knew could give me such a high. It’s a feeling I haven’t ever felt in my life but one that i’ll never forget...  This past week on Tuesday our whole group plus our professor Jan and his 12 year old son Damian, hit the road to Vienna, Austria. After our 3 hour bus ride turned into a 5 hour one due to heavy traffic, I was more than ready to hop on out and see what the city had to offer. We finally got to our hostel (this one was better than prague, but still not great. At least it had clean sheets lol.) and we dropped our bags (soooo heavy because we had to pack  2 weeks worth of clothes) to go find food. Some girls  and I found an awesome place called “Bros Pizza” and we definitely indulged! After lunch we visited a church and then broke off to do my sacred tradition

04 | 03 | 18  B A R C E L O N A.  HOLA MI AMIGOS!! Wow!!! I had theee bestt weekend and I cant WAIT to share it with you!!! *enter a million heart eye emojis*  Out of all the places I've traveled in my life, I think Barcelona takes the cake. Funny enough, when Bailee and I were originally planning out our itinerary, Barcelona wasn't even on our list.  I'd had a few friends on snapchat that were studying in Spain and it looked beautiful so I figured why not?!  After getting to school a few weeks back and sharing that Barcelona was apart of our plan, there were 4 other girls that were interested in coming with us. They did and im SO thankful for it! Traveling with a big group of girls is really fun!  Early Friday morning us 6 girls hopped out of bed in Olomouc, grabbed our duffels and headed out the door to catch our train to Prague. After arriving there 3 hours later, we bused to the airport where Bai and I waited 4 1/2 hours to board our plane! (the other g

03 | 27 | 2018  P R A G U E.  Ahoy BABES! Oh Boyyyyyy! Do I have lots to catch you guys up on! Can I just say before I start in on my past weekend, that all of you have been SO amazing! I've received so much positive feedback on these blogs. So, i'm glad you're all enjoying reading these entries as much as i'm enjoying writing them!  This past weekend on Thursday morning we left bright and early from the train station in Olomouc to ride 3 hours into to Prague. I'd never taken a train before (subways dont count) so this was actually a lot better than I expected. The trains were nice and clean and roomie. A short 3 hours later, our big ol school group was hopping off the train one by one to start our field trip in Prague and Dresden, Germany. Only problem, right when we got there our head count was one short because Hannah got off the train too early and tried to rush and get back on! She couldn't get in before the doors closed. Dont worry, she figured it ou
