Hello. Bonjour. Ahoj. and welcome to my blog. 

My name is Abigayle Zoellner and i'm almost 22 years young. Though I come from small city living, my dreams are as broad and as deep as the dead sea. I suppose I should give you a little insight as to why this blog is being built. I've always loved to write creatively and share some soul with anyone who's willing to listen. After blogging became extremely popular in the recent years of the 21st century, I lost my aspiration to hop on the trend train due to, you know, not being a bandwagon. But after seeing that my upcoming European adventure requires me to start and keep a blog throughout my journey ahead, I figured maybe it's time to sail into my sea of thought and channel my writing gypsy within...

Come March 1st, I leave from the oh so lovely tri-cities of Nebraska, U.S.A. to dive into the historically fascinating European culture. I'll be studying in a city called Olomouc, located just a few hours outside of Prague, Czech Republic. Before I start school at Palacký University, there are a few countries i'll be visiting, so stay tuned in order to figure out where i'll embark on the start of my migrate! 

I cant wait to share a season of my ever evolving life with you. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time.

05 | 09 | 18 A U S C H W I T Z  This past weekend I visited hell on Earth. I visited the largest mass murder sight in the entire world. It was one of the most difficult things I've ever witnessed and the most empty, sickening feeling i've ever felt in my lifetime… but I had too. Because we must not forget. We must temporarily put ourselves through a small fraction of the sorrow and somber feeling that Jewish women, children, fathers, grandparents, lovers; felt, amongst many other terrible emotions, every single day for five years.  On saturday morning our group left bright and early for Krakow, Poland. 04 | 23 | 18  G R E E C E  &   R O M E Blessed and Obsessed. Two words that perfectly describe my spring break!   Seriously though I've been asking myself for the three days i've been back now, how the hell I got so lucky in life?   My mind has been racing with an overwhelming amount of joy, positive thoughts, and memories. I'm almost emotional writing about this because I cant believe its already over. If  you thought I was overjoyed when reading my venice blog...hold your breath … Here we go!      Bai and I flew out of Venice late saturday afternoon and landed in Rome about an hour later! It was quite the pricey Uber ride into the city, but rolling up to the contemporary Tribune Hotel (It was a breath of fresh air to be in a new and modern place, since all of Europe is so historical) knowing I was about to see my mama, (who I hadn't seen in 2 months) and my grandma, (one of my fav people ever) nothing else mattered but being reunited with them!! 03 | 10 | 18  P A R I S.  Bonjour aime.  13 Rue Richard Lenoir, Paris, France. What a magical address to have!? This was our charming little airbnb we stayed in while exploring Paris last weekend. Though Richard Lenior came with its own set of challenges, like the washer/dryer that did not in fact dry our clothes, only make them smell like feet. Or spiral wooden staircase we had to drag our suit cases up 4 flights of. Or the rule of no streaming on the wifi, which meant no Netflix, only french soap operas..  After getting acquainted upon our rainy arrival in Paris on the 8th, we grabbed a BLT and french fries (duh) at a cafe and headed straight back home that afternoon because we were exhausted!
