03 | 27 | 2018  P R A G U E.  Ahoy BABES! Oh Boyyyyyy! Do I have lots to catch you guys up on! Can I just say before I start in on my past weekend, that all of you have been SO amazing! I've received so much positive feedback on these blogs. So, i'm glad you're all enjoying reading these entries as much as i'm enjoying writing them!  This past weekend on Thursday morning we left bright and early from the train station in Olomouc to ride 3 hours into to Prague. I'd never taken a train before (subways dont count) so this was actually a lot better than I expected. The trains were nice and clean and roomie. A short 3 hours later, our big ol school group was hopping off the train one by one to start our field trip in Prague and Dresden, Germany. Only problem, right when we got there our head count was one short because Hannah got off the train too early and tried to rush and get back on! She couldn't get in before the doors closed. Dont worry, she figured it ou

03 | 20 | 18  O L O M O U C.  Dobry Den. (That's Hello in Czech!)  Currently, I'm sitting in "Cross Cafe" in the heart of my college town. Olomouc. It's located about three hours east of Prague. We arrived here 10 days ago, but given the never ending roller coaster of emotions I've experienced, this feels like a circus ride i'll never get off of…this is culture shock.  The night we pulled in to Olomouc, we checked in to our dorms and received a key to our door, and handed a set of old, orange, striped sheets. When we finally got all of our bags up 5 flights of stairs, we unlocked our pod door and were surprised to see we'd be sharing a bathroom and kitchen with 6 other men. Oh, and to top it all off, we also shortly came to the conclusion that had zero internet access. I was trying not to think about the Paris high I was coming off of, and the discouragement I was feeling. I knew I had to focus on the positives, which was that we were finally w

03 | 10 | 18  P A R I S.  Bonjour aime.  13 Rue Richard Lenoir, Paris, France. What a magical address to have!? This was our charming little airbnb we stayed in while exploring Paris last weekend. Though Richard Lenior came with its own set of challenges, like the washer/dryer that did not in fact dry our clothes, only make them smell like feet. Or spiral wooden staircase we had to drag our suit cases up 4 flights of. Or the rule of no streaming on the wifi, which meant no Netflix, only french soap operas..  After getting acquainted upon our rainy arrival in Paris on the 8th, we grabbed a BLT and french fries (duh) at a cafe and headed straight back home that afternoon because we were exhausted! We woke up bright and early friday and hit the ground running! We headed to the Latin quarter and met Harry, our tiny elf like tour guide for the free walking tour we signed up for! We were so shocked the tour was free because other ones comparable were around $50. But Harry was workin

03 | 08 | 18  L O N D O N. 2.0  Hey babes, self - love soldier here. I wanted to fill you guys in on the tail end of my london trip! I’m currently sitting in Gatwick airport, reflecting my last few days spent here while waiting to board my flight to Paris this morning!  On Tuesday  Bai and I were super pumped to wake up because we found out late Monday night our luggage was finally on its way!! In the morning we popped right up out of bed and headed back across the river to grab some coffee and breakfast before going to get our bags. After we got them around 1p.m. we couldn’t head back to our airbnb fast enough to shower. I felt like I went from Mia Thermopolis pre-princess lessons to Amelia Thermoplis Renaldi Princess of Genovia after I was finally able to do my hair and makeup again. LOL. Kidding. In all seriousness though, the pep was finally back in my step. Post glam session, we headed back down on the town to visit Buckingham Palace. It was a lot bigger than I expected

03 | 05 | 18   L O N D O N.  Hello love.  Beware this post is long! 4 days worth! Writing you today straight from The Smoke itself! This is my first official post after starting our Journey, last week Thursday, and boyy let me tell ya, it's been a little CHa-CHie!! (Abbie lingo for roughin it) ;)  After eagerly anticipating our take off on March 1st to Dublin, Ireland you could say Bailee and I were less than thrilled to find out due to a freak snow storm, which hasn't happened to Europe in over 10 years, the Dublin airport would be closed till Sunday. Our original plan was to be in Dublin til Monday then fly to London. Nope. No flights in. No flights out.  After arriving in London on Friday , once again, for which we thought was a layover...and learning of this disappointing news in the airport, things only got worse… we decided it would be best to retrieve our luggage and book a hotel room. Problem being, the extremely rude United booking agent informed us w
